Dining Plan Information

Disneyland Resort does not currently offer a Disney Dining Plan for day guests. River Belle Terrace accepts standard payment methods. Reservations are recommended, especially during peak seasons, but walk-ins are accommodated based on availability.

About River Belle Terrace

River Belle Terrace has been a fixture of Disneyland since the early days of the park, operating in various forms near the banks of the Rivers of America in Frontierland. Its elevated terrace position — overlooking the spot where the Mark Twain Riverboat and Sailing Ship Columbia make their lazy loops around Tom Sawyer Island — gives it one of the most scenic dining outlooks in the park.

The Setting

The restaurant occupies a two-story structure with a covered outdoor terrace on the upper level and additional indoor seating below. From the upper deck, guests have a clear view of the river and the forested island beyond — one of the few spots in Disneyland where the outside world completely disappears and the park’s illusion holds in every direction. The frontier architecture, warm wood tones, and lantern-style lighting make it a genuinely pleasant place to sit and decompress.

The Monte Cristo Legacy

The Monte Cristo sandwich is River Belle Terrace’s signature contribution to Disneyland food culture. The deep-fried, powdered-sugar-dusted ham and cheese sandwich with raspberry jam for dipping has been on the menu for decades and remains one of the most photographed dishes in the whole resort.
