Plaza Inn is celebrated for its Specialty Chicken — 3 pieces of herb-seasoned fried chicken served with mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a buttermilk biscuit. It’s the signature dish that keeps Guests coming back year after year.

The spacious patio on Main Street, U.S.A. offers al fresco dining with prime people-watching views of the park.

Character Breakfast ($$$ — $35 to $59.99 per adult)

“Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet featuring:

• Made-to-order omelets and Minnie waffles
• French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage
• Biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes
• Fresh-baked pastries and breads, fruit, hot and cold cereals

Beloved Disney characters — including Minnie Mouse — make appearances during breakfast. This is the only Character Dining experience at Disneyland Park, with views of Sleeping Beauty Castle beyond.

Character lineup is subject to change without notice. Charges do not apply to children under 3 years of age.

Dining Plan Information

The Disney Dining Plan is not accepted at Plaza Inn. Guests pay out-of-pocket for all meal periods. The Paint the Night Dining Package is available, which includes a reserved viewing area for the Paint the Night nighttime parade along with a scrumptious lunch — this package is purchased separately through the Disneyland Resort website.

Advance reservations are required for breakfast and can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit. Reservations are not offered for lunch or dinner.

About Plaza Inn

Step through the doors of one of the original landmarks of Disneyland Park — the Plaza Inn has been welcoming hungry Guests since opening day in 1955. Designer Lillian Disney, Walt’s wife, personally handpicked many of the restaurant’s authentic 19th-century interior furnishings. The Victorian stained-glass ceiling, marble foyer, and ornate gingerbread woodwork were all salvaged from a historic home in Los Angeles’ St. James Park neighborhood.

Formerly known as the Red Wagon Inn, the restaurant once featured a VIP lounge, wet bar, and private bathroom to accommodate Walt Disney’s special guests, with smartly jacketed doormen greeting diners at the entrance. It was, by many accounts, one of Walt’s own favorite places to dine in the park.

Today, Plaza Inn strikes a perfect balance between its storied past and family-friendly fun. The elegant Victorian dining room gives way to a spacious patio ideal for soaking up the atmosphere of Main Street, U.S.A. Whether you’re fueling up with a Character Breakfast before a full day in the park or settling in for a hearty lunch of the legendary Specialty Chicken, Plaza Inn delivers a warm, classic Disneyland experience that has stood the test of time.
