Dining Plan Information

Hearthstone Lounge is located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort. The Disneyland Resort does not offer a dining plan equivalent to Walt Disney World’s. All food and beverage are paid out of pocket. No reservations are required; seating is first-come, first-served.

About Hearthstone Lounge

Hearthstone Lounge is the heart of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa — quite literally. The lounge centers on an enormous stone fireplace that anchors the hotel’s dramatic Arts and Crafts lobby, creating one of the most inviting gathering spaces at any Disney resort property in the world.

The Grand Californian’s lobby is itself one of the great achievements of Disney Imagineering, modeled after the great lodges of the American National Parks with soaring timber beams, hand-crafted tilework, and warm amber lighting. Hearthstone Lounge occupies a privileged corner of this space, with cushy seating arranged around the fireplace that draws equal parts hotel guests, park visitors taking a break, and locals who have discovered it as a destination in its own right.

The bar program leans into Northern California’s world-class wine country and the growing craft cocktail scene in the region. The wine list skews heavily toward Napa and Sonoma producers, and the cocktails reflect the seasonal abundance of the state. It is the kind of place that makes you want to order one more round just to extend the evening.

Hearthstone Lounge is open to all Disneyland Resort guests — you do not need to be staying at the Grand Californian to enjoy it. The lounge can be accessed directly from Disney California Adventure Park through a private hotel entrance, making it one of the best mid-day escapes on the property. No reservations are taken; it is entirely walk-up, which adds to the relaxed, spontaneous feel of the space.
