Lamplight Lounge sits at the entrance to Pixar Pier along the waterfront of Paradise Bay in Disney California Adventure Park. The restaurant is a love letter to Pixar storytelling, filled with original artwork, sketches, and Easter eggs from beloved Pixar films. From the moment you walk in, the space feels like an artist’s retreat where some of animation’s greatest stories were born.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The upstairs dining room features large windows overlooking the Incredicoaster and the boardwalk below, while the downstairs Boardwalk Dining area offers a more casual, walk-up experience at water level. Whether you are seated indoors surrounded by Pixar memorabilia or outside watching the sun set over Paradise Bay, Lamplight Lounge delivers one of the most enjoyable dining environments at the Disneyland Resort.

The gastropub menu is creative without being pretentious, and the craft cocktail program is one of the best on Disney property. This is a place that appeals equally to families looking for elevated comfort food and adults looking for a great drink in a stunning setting.

Lamplight Lounge is one of the most popular dining reservations at the Disneyland Resort with over 2,000 reservation alerts on MagicTable.

Demand patterns by month:

• Hardest months: February and November (peak demand at 5)
• Easiest months: June and July (1) offer the best shot at availability
• September through December stays consistently high (4-5)

Tips for booking:

• Disneyland Resort reservations open 60 days in advance
• Try for lunch, which tends to be slightly less competitive than dinner
• The downstairs Boardwalk Dining section accepts walk-ups with a more limited menu
• If the main dining room is booked, Boardwalk Dining is a solid alternative with some of the same dishes (including the Lobster Nachos)
• Check back often for cancellations, especially in the week leading up to your visit

Dining Plan Information

Lamplight Lounge is located at the Disneyland Resort, which does not currently offer a dining plan equivalent to Walt Disney World’s. All meals are paid out of pocket.
