What’s Included

The World of Color Dessert Party package includes:

• A curated selection of colorful sweet treats — The dessert spread features a rotating lineup of themed confections designed to evoke the colors and magic of the World of Color show
• Beverages — Both non-alcoholic and (for Guests 21+) alcoholic options are available as part of the package
• Reserved preferred viewing — Dedicated seating in the World of Color preferred viewing area at Paradise Gardens Park, ahead of and during the show

Price includes tax and gratuity. Children ages 2 and younger may attend free of charge when seated on the lap of an adult.

Seating

Reserved seating is in the preferred viewing area at Paradise Gardens Park. Seating options include tables with folding chairs or high-top tables with director chairs. Note that seating is communal — you may be seated alongside another party.

Show Viewing

Your reservation time is for the dessert party itself, not for the World of Color performance start time. Text message reminders are sent close to your reservation time and continue up to 10 minutes past the reservation time. Arrive on time — the team may be unable to accommodate early or late arrivals.

Booking Notes

• Each person in your party must purchase a dessert party package to enter the viewing area
• A separate theme park reservation and valid admission for Disney California Adventure Park on the same date is required for each Guest ages 3 and older — park admission is not included in the package price
• All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older for the full duration of the dining and viewing experience
• Accommodations for Guests with disabilities are available

Dining Plan Information

The Disneyland Resort does not currently offer a dining plan equivalent to Walt Disney World’s Disney Dining Plan. The World of Color Dessert Party is paid entirely out of pocket. Pricing varies by season and is subject to change — check the Disney website for current pricing when booking.

About World of Color Dessert Party

The World of Color Dessert Party is one of the most popular premium event offerings at the Disneyland Resort, pairing a curated dessert experience with guaranteed preferred viewing for World of Color — a nighttime spectacular that uses 1,200 water fountain jets, theatrical lighting, fire, and fog effects to project sequences from Disney and Pixar films across the surface of Paradise Bay.

For first-time visitors to World of Color, the reserved viewing area is genuinely transformative. The show draws large crowds and unreserved standing areas fill up well in advance, often requiring Guests to stake out spots an hour or more before showtime. The dessert party eliminates that entirely — you arrive, enjoy your sweets, and settle into your reserved seat with a direct sightline to the action.

The dessert spread itself is themed to the show and changes seasonally, with colorful confections that reference the water, light, and Disney storytelling at the heart of the experience. The package is family-friendly and well-suited to guests who want to maximize their evening at Disney California Adventure without sacrificing prime viewing position for one of the resort’s signature nighttime events.

Note that World of Color is seasonal and subject to the park’s entertainment schedule. The dessert party is only offered on nights when the show is running — confirm show availability when making your reservation.
