Dining Plan Information
Terralina Crafted Italian accepts the Disney Dining Plan, with 1 Table-Service meal redeemed per person. The $$ price point and the quality of the handmade pastas and wood-fired pizzas make this a strong dining plan value at Disney Springs — particularly for guests who prefer Italian cuisine and appreciate a waterfront setting without the premium pricing of some of the area’s higher-end options.
About Terralina Crafted Italian
Terralina Crafted Italian opened at Disney Springs in 2018, taking over the lakeside space formerly occupied by Portobello Country Italian Trattoria, which had operated there since Disney Springs’ earlier incarnation as Downtown Disney. The restaurant was developed in partnership with Chef Tony Mantuano, the James Beard Award-winning chef behind Chicago’s Spiaggia, one of the most acclaimed Italian restaurants in the United States.
The Lake District Concept
The restaurant’s name and culinary identity are rooted in the Italian concept of a “terralina” — a small terrace or gathering place overlooking the water — which suits the Disney Springs lakefront location with unusual precision. The menu draws explicitly from the cooking of northern Italy’s lake district: Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Lake Garda, and the surrounding Lombardy and Piedmont countryside. This is not southern Italian red-sauce cooking or the Roman trattoria tradition, but a distinct northern style characterized by butter rather than olive oil, rice and polenta as often as pasta, and an emphasis on freshwater fish, game, and the seasonal produce of the alpine foothills.
The Setting
Terralina occupies a prime waterfront position at Disney Springs, with both interior dining and exterior terrace seating overlooking the lake. The interior design evokes a refined Italian lakeside villa — warm wood tones, stone accents, arched windows — while the terrace seating offers some of the best al fresco dining in Disney Springs, particularly in the evening when the water reflects the lights of the surrounding buildings.
The restaurant’s $$ price point and casual dining classification make it one of the more accessible fine-casual options at Disney Springs, occupying a comfortable middle ground between the quick-service options around The Landing and the premium steakhouses and seafood restaurants elsewhere in the complex.
