Teppan Edo is an a la carte teppanyaki restaurant where chefs cook directly at your table on a flat iron grill. Dishes are priced individually and span steak, chicken, seafood, and vegetable options.

All entrees are accompanied by Udon noodles and steamed rice. A Yum Yum dipping sauce and ginger salad dressing are provided tableside.

Beverages

Guests 21 and older can pair their meal with Japanese beers, sake (hot or cold), or sake cocktails. Non-alcoholic options include Japanese teas and soft drinks.

Communal Seating Note

Tables at Teppan Edo are designed to seat up to 8 guests around a single grill. Smaller parties should expect to be seated with other guests — this communal arrangement is central to the teppanyaki tradition and part of what makes the experience memorable.

Teppan Edo accepts the Disney Dining Plan, with 1 Table-Service meal redeemed per person. Given the a la carte pricing in the $$ range ($15–$34.99 per adult for most entrees), dining plan redemption here is a straightforward value — particularly for guests ordering an entree plus an appetizer or cocktail.

About Teppan Edo

Teppan Edo sits on the second floor of EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion in World Showcase, directly above Tokyo Dining. The name translates roughly to “iron griddle of Edo” — Edo being the historical name for Tokyo — and the concept is grounded in the communal, theatrical Japanese cooking style known as teppanyaki.

The dining room is serene and refined, featuring paper screens, dark wood furnishings, and views of the Japan Pavilion below. The real focus, however, is the grill. Chefs trained in the teppanyaki tradition perform the cooking with precision and a few flourishes — knife work, flame, the satisfying sizzle of protein hitting a very hot surface.

Teppan Edo is consistently one of the most popular dining reservations in World Showcase. The combination of interactive cooking, quality ingredients, and an atmosphere that feels genuinely removed from the typical theme-park dining experience draws guests back repeatedly. Reservations book well in advance, particularly for dinner. If you can’t secure a reservation, Tokyo Dining next door offers similar Japanese cuisine in a more traditional seated format.
