Step into a 1950s outdoor drive-in movie theater — without ever leaving the air conditioning. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the most uniquely themed restaurants at Walt Disney World. The entire dining room is designed to look like an open-air drive-in, complete with a starry night sky ceiling, twinkling lights, and vintage movie posters.

Your seat? A classic convertible car booth facing a massive movie screen that loops retro sci-fi B-movie clips, cartoons, and old-fashioned trailers. A “car hop” server takes your order as you settle in for dinner and a show. The atmosphere is dark, kitschy, and genuinely fun — especially for kids seeing it for the first time.

Located on Commissary Lane, Sci-Fi Dine-In is a restaurant where the experience is the main attraction. The food is solid American fare focused on burgers and comfort food, and the theming makes it one of the most memorable meals in the park.
