The Experience
The Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats & Sweets is a separately ticketed event that combines an elaborate dessert buffet with reserved outdoor seating for Happily Ever After — Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks spectacular.
The Dessert Buffet
Guests check in at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant about 60 minutes before the fireworks show. Inside, a lavish buffet of themed confections awaits — each one inspired by the different lands of Magic Kingdom Park. Recent offerings have included:
- Star Command Mousse Cup — Chocolate cookie crumbs, white chocolate mousse, green apple gelée, whipped cream, red crispy pearls, and a star command chocolate piece
- Under the Sea Cupcake — Vanilla cake soaked in tres leches with coconut, topped with whipped cream, red sprinkles, and sugar shells
- DOLE Whip Pineapple Mousse Cup — Pineapple gelée and panna cotta with flavors of DOLE Whip Pineapple
- Country Bear Cheesecake — Chocolate tart filled with whipped cheesecake, apple pie filling, cinnamon streusel, and a chocolate piece
- Bayou Peach Cobbler — Cinnamon panna cotta, peach cobbler, cinnamon streusel, and a chocolate piece
- Mickey-Shaped Fruit Tart — Pastry cream topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, and gold leaf in a Mickey-shaped tart shell
Refreshing beverages are included, along with beer and wine for guests ages 21 and over with valid ID. Menu items are subject to change.
The Fireworks Viewing
When the show time approaches, guests move to the restaurant’s outdoor patio — a reserved terrace with a clear sightline to Cinderella Castle and the sky above. Unlike watching from the crowded hub or Main Street, this reserved seating means no jostling for position or arriving 90 minutes early to claim a spot.
Happily Ever After is Magic Kingdom’s flagship nighttime spectacular, transforming Cinderella Castle with color, light, and projection effects while a soaring score weaves together beloved Disney songs.

About the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant sits at the edge of the park’s central hub, positioned perfectly to capture views of Cinderella Castle’s spires and the fireworks above. The dessert party format — pre-show indulgence followed by reserved outdoor viewing — has proven one of the most popular ways to experience Magic Kingdom’s nighttime entertainment without the stress of securing a good spot.
This party runs on evenings when Happily Ever After is scheduled. Guests who want an earlier dessert experience (before the fireworks) rather than a post-party option should look for the Pre-Party variant, while those who prefer desserts after the show can look into the Post-Party option. This Seats & Sweets version offers both the dessert buffet and reserved seating, making it the most complete version of the experience.
Advance reservations are highly recommended. Same-day reservations may be available on a limited basis subject to availability.
