Wine selections draw from Disney’s broader California wine portfolio, and beer is available alongside the cocktail menu. Guests ages 21+ with valid identification can order alcoholic beverages.

Dining Plan Information

The Disneyland Resort does not currently offer a dining plan equivalent to Walt Disney World’s. All meals at Magic Key Terrace are paid out of pocket. Pass holder discounts, where applicable, are applied at checkout.

About Magic Key Terrace

Magic Key Terrace sits on a raised terrace above the Golden Vine Winery area of Disney California Adventure Park, positioned in the corridor between Buena Vista Street and the park’s inner lands. The architecture takes its cues from early California hacienda design — wrought iron candle chandeliers, stained glass windows, a soothing water feature, and wooden pergolas laced with white lights that give the space warmth even during cooler evenings. Outdoor heaters keep the terrace comfortable year-round.

Access Requirements

This venue is exclusively for Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass holders and their guests. The rules are straightforward:

• A valid Magic Key pass must be shown via the Disneyland app upon arrival
• At least one Magic Key holder must be present for the duration of the dining experience
• Each Magic Key holder may bring guests for a total party of up to 6 people
• Companions without a Magic Key of their own are welcome — one pass holder can admit the full group

Reservations can be made in advance through the Disneyland app or online. Walk-up availability may be accessed through the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist in the app, subject to availability on the day.

The Setting

The terrace position above Golden Vine Winery creates a vantage point that feels removed from the main park flow. Tables are arranged under the pergola structures, giving a sense of semi-private outdoor dining while remaining open to the California air. On clear evenings, the combination of string lights, a glass of California wine, and the park ambience makes this one of the more genuinely pleasant places to sit down at any Disney property.

The exclusive-access model serves its purpose: the terrace stays relatively uncrowded compared to the broader park, and the pace is noticeably calmer. Magic Key holders who visit the Disneyland Resort frequently often treat it as a reliable retreat — a place to decompress between lands, meet up with a group, or simply have a proper cocktail in a space that doesn’t feel like it’s operating at peak theme park capacity.
