Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining is the upstairs alfresco patio experience at Pixar Pier. The menu focuses on innovative, gastropub-style appetizers and shareable bites, perfectly suited to the casual waterfront atmosphere.

Artisanal Appetizers

Each dish is crafted to perfection with a creative California spin. Guest-favorite bites have included:

• Lobster Nachos — the signature dish that made this location famous, featuring Maine lobster, corn tortilla chips, cotija cheese, jalapeños, and a chipotle-lime crema
• Seasonal shareables and gastropub-style small plates designed for grazing alongside cocktails

Signature Cocktails

Creative libations are a cornerstone of the Lamplight Lounge experience. Drinks draw inspiration from Pixar films and California craft culture:

• A rotating selection of California craft beers and artisanal spirits
• Pixar-themed specialty cocktails and mocktails
• Signature cocktails built around fresh-squeezed juices and house-made syrups

Non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase alcoholic beverages; limit 2 per transaction.

Important Note on Format

Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining is an appetizers-and-drinks focused experience with outdoor seating only. It is the upstairs counterpart to the ground-floor Lamplight Lounge, which serves a fuller menu of entrées and also accepts reservations. If you’re looking for a complete dinner, the ground-floor location may better suit your needs.

Dining Plan Information

Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining is located inside Disney California Adventure Park and does not participate in the Disney Dining Plan. Standard pricing applies. Reservations are accepted and highly recommended.

About Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining

Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining opened with the reimagining of Pixar Pier in 2018, and it quickly became one of the most in-demand reservations at the Disneyland Resort. The location is stunning: an open-air patio perched above the Pixar Pier boardwalk, with sweeping views of Paradise Bay and the colorful facades of the pier’s attractions.

The Pixar Connection

Every detail of Lamplight Lounge — from the art on the walls to the names on the cocktail menu — celebrates the storytelling legacy of Pixar Animation Studios. Original concept art, character mementos, and playful design touches fill the space, making it feel like a curated tribute to the studio that has shaped so many childhoods. The overall tone is warm and inviting rather than loud and theme-park-obvious.

The View

The outdoor boardwalk seating offers unobstructed sightlines across Paradise Bay and toward the Incredicoaster, making it one of the most photogenic dining spots in either Disneyland Resort park. In the evening, the lights of Pixar Pier reflecting on the water create an atmosphere that is hard to beat.

Reservations and Walk-Ups

Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days prior via the Disneyland app. Same-day walk-up availability exists but is limited. Seating preference is not guaranteed — the entire experience is outdoor only. Parties of 8 or more have a 20% gratuity automatically added.
