The Experience

The small plates format at Spice Road Table means the meal tends to feel more relaxed and social than a traditional entree-based dinner. Dishes arrive throughout the meal rather than all at once, which encourages a slower pace — useful when you have a concert to look forward to but no particular reason to rush. Signature plates typically include hummus variations, pita with spiced dips, lamb preparations, seafood dishes, and a rotating selection of region-inspired bites. The outdoor terrace is the preferred seating area when weather cooperates, and the lagoon views are especially atmospheric at dusk.

After dinner, the walk to the America Gardens Theatre puts you on the lagoon promenade alongside the Food & Wine Festival booths — Morocco, Japan, and the American Adventure pavilion are all in that stretch — giving you a natural opportunity to extend the evening with a festival sample before you take your seat. The reserved seating section at the theatre positions you ahead of general admission guests who arrive without a dining package voucher. Spice Road Table is one of the more distinctive restaurants in the World Showcase, tucked into the Morocco Pavilion with a large outdoor terrace that sits right on the edge of the World Showcase Lagoon. The concept is Mediterranean small plates — think hummus, flatbreads, lamb skewers, spiced olives, and crispy falafel — served in a relaxed, grazing format that suits a pre-concert evening particularly well. The waterfront setting gives you unobstructed views across the lagoon, and on a clear evening during festival season, the atmosphere is hard to beat.

As one of the participating Concert Series Dining Package restaurants, Spice Road Table pairs your meal with guaranteed reserved seating for that evening’s Eat to the Beat performance at the America Gardens Theatre. The theatre is directly across the lagoon from the Morocco Pavilion, which means the walk around the promenade takes about 10 minutes — budget for that when you are timing your departure. Your server will provide the concert voucher when you finish your meal.
