Dining Plan Information

Sanaa accepts the Disney Dining Plan, with 1 Table-Service meal redeemed per person. Given the menu’s generous portions and unique multi-cultural offerings — particularly the acclaimed bread service — this restaurant offers excellent value for dining plan credits. The bread service ($23) alone is a fan favorite and can be ordered as an appetizer add-on.

Cancellations must be made in accordance with the restaurant’s policy or the credit card on file will be charged a per-person fee. Parties of 8 or more will have 20% gratuity automatically added.

About Sanaa

Sanaa — whose name means “work of art” in Swahili — is one of Walt Disney World’s most beloved hidden gems. Located on the ground floor of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, the restaurant is steps away from the Sunset Savanna, where zebras, gazelles, giraffes, and ostriches roam freely throughout the day and into the evening. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the dining room, making nearly every table a front-row seat to the African savanna.

The interior evokes a traditional East African spice market, adorned with handcrafted wares and decorative metalwork beneath the graceful canopy of an acacia tree. It is a warm and immersive space that sets the mood perfectly for the menu’s blend of African and Indian flavors — a combination rooted in the centuries-old trading routes between East Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

The star of the menu is the celebrated Indian-style Bread Service, featuring five varieties of freshly baked bread and nine accompaniments ranging from sweet mango chutney to fiery red chile sambal. It’s one of the most talked-about dishes on Disney property and a must-order for every visit. For those seeking heartier fare, the slow-braised and curry-based entrees are rich, complex, and deeply satisfying. The Sanaa Lounge, adjacent to the main dining room, offers a more casual walk-in experience with appetizers, salads, and a full bar program featuring African wines and specialty cocktails.
