What’s Included

The Plaza Inn Dining Package bundles a set lunch meal with a voucher for reserved viewing of the Paint the Night parade on the same day.

Every person in the party must purchase a dining package to receive a viewing voucher.

Paint the Night Viewing

After your meal, head to the reserved Paint the Night viewing area using the voucher issued when you pay. The voucher specifies the exact viewing location, when to arrive, and the performance time. Arrive at the viewing area no earlier than 10 minutes before showtime. The viewing area is primarily standing room or ground seating and is separate from the dining location.

The reserved viewing area is designated for the first performance of the day (if two shows are scheduled). The Paint the Night parade runs from January 30 to August 9, 2026.

Note: Performances can be cancelled without notice due to technical issues, weather, or other circumstances. No refunds or exchanges are available if the show is cancelled.

Dining Details

Arrive at the Plaza Inn restaurant up to 10 minutes before your scheduled reservation time. Payment for the dining package is required upon check-in. Guests may dine at any available table inside the restaurant. Gratuity is not required or included.

Dining Plan Information

The Disneyland Resort does not currently offer a dining plan equivalent to Walt Disney World’s Disney Dining Plan. The Plaza Inn Dining Package is paid entirely out of pocket at $58 per adult and $32 per child (ages 3–9). Tax is not included. Magic Key holder discounts may apply — check the Disneyland app for current eligibility before booking.

About Plaza Inn Dining Package

The Plaza Inn Dining Package turns a midday meal into a full parade evening without requiring Guests to stake out a spot on the parade route hours in advance. Parades at Disneyland are notoriously crowded affairs, and reserving your viewing position through this package eliminates one of the most stressful parts of the experience.

The Plaza Inn itself is one of the original Disneyland restaurants, located at the eastern end of Main Street, U.S.A. The Victorian-style interiors feature intricate period décor that feels timeless and distinctly Disneyland. The restaurant’s location near the corner of Main Street makes it a natural gathering point for guests watching the parade, which travels directly past this area of the park.

The Paint the Night parade is a visually spectacular production featuring floats covered in LED lights and popular Disney and Pixar characters. On a warm Southern California evening, the experience of having a reserved viewing spot for this parade — with a satisfying meal in your stomach and no elbowing through crowds — represents exactly what a Disney dining package is meant to deliver. The package runs through August 2026 in conjunction with the parade’s performance schedule.
