Liberty Tree Tavern is one of Magic Kingdom’s most enduring and charming dining experiences, tucked into the heart of Liberty Square and designed to evoke the spirit of colonial New England. The restaurant’s stately facade — complete with wood columns, hanging lanterns, and period-appropriate signage — fits seamlessly into the neighborhood’s 18th-century American atmosphere.

Inside, the restaurant is divided into 6 historically themed dining rooms, each dedicated to a pivotal figure from American history: Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Paul Jones, Paul Revere, Betsy Ross, and George Washington. Rich wood paneling, candelabra chandeliers, large brick fireplaces, and walls lined with period portraits and curios create an atmosphere that feels both festive and genuinely immersive. Guests are encouraged to wander between courses to spot the signature artifacts associated with each founding hero.
