The Experience

The Fantasmic! Dining Package at Storytellers Cafe is one of the Disneyland Resort’s most comfortable ways to secure reserved seating for Fantasmic! — the nightly nighttime spectacular on the Rivers of America. Storytellers Cafe is located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, one of the most architecturally impressive hotels at any Disney resort worldwide, and its inclusion in the Fantasmic! dining package program offers guests a dining experience that feels distinctly separate from the theme park rush.

How It Works

1. Book a Fantasmic! Dining Package reservation at Storytellers Cafe through the Disneyland app or Disney dining reservation system
2. Arrive at Storytellers Cafe inside the Grand Californian Hotel at your scheduled time — the restaurant is accessible from the hotel lobby and from the Disney California Adventure entrance on the hotel’s lower level
3. Enjoy your meal in the lodge-style dining room with its soaring Arts and Crafts-style timber ceilings
4. Receive a Fantasmic! reserved seating voucher from your server during the meal
5. Travel to Disneyland Park (park admission required separately) — the Grand Californian connects to Disney California Adventure, from which guests can walk through the resort to the Disneyland Park entrance, or enter through the Downtown Disney/hotel approach
6. Present your voucher at the Fantasmic! amphitheater viewing area on the banks of the Rivers of America before showtime

All members of your party must participate in the dining package to receive a viewing voucher. The reserved viewing area is first-come, first-served within the reserved section — arriving at the amphitheater ahead of showtime gives you the best positioning within the reserved area.

The Meal

Storytellers Cafe serves California-inspired American comfort food with Pacific Rim accents. The dining package includes a prix fixe experience, which typically features:

• A choice of entrée from a seasonally updated selection — past options have included roasted chicken, grilled salmon, pasta, and similar California comfort preparations
• Starter or side dish and dessert
• Non-alcoholic beverage

Storytellers Cafe also runs a beloved character breakfast that features Mickey Mouse and friends — however, the Fantasmic! Dining Package is typically an evening offering oriented around the nighttime show rather than the character dining experience. Confirm current programming at time of booking.

About Fantasmic!

Fantasmic! at Disneyland is a 25-minute nighttime spectacular performed on the Rivers of America in which Mickey Mouse’s imagination takes on Disney’s greatest villains. The show uses the river as a live stage, combining water screens, fire effects, live performers, floating barges, and some of the most iconic Disney characters in a production that has been thrilling Disneyland guests since 1992. It runs on select evenings — check the Disneyland app for the current schedule before booking.
