The Experience

The Fantasmic! Dining Package at 50’s Prime Time Café is one of the most entertaining ways to earn your reserved seating for Hollywood Studios’ landmark nighttime spectacular. 50’s Prime Time Café is a fully committed theatrical experience — guests are served by “Mom” and her cast of servers who play disapproving relatives from a 1950s television sitcom, all while surrounded by vintage TV sets broadcasting classic shows from the era. It is one of the most distinctive themed dining environments at any Disney park.

How It Works

1. Book a Fantasmic! Dining Package reservation at 50’s Prime Time Café through the My Disney Experience app or Disney dining reservation system
2. Dine at your scheduled time — lunch or dinner both qualify on Fantasmic! show days
3. Receive your Fantasmic! reserved seating voucher from your server during the meal
4. Make your way to the Fantasmic! amphitheater on Sunset Boulevard before showtime — seating opens 90 minutes prior, and check-in closes roughly 25 minutes before the show begins
5. Present your voucher to access the dedicated reserved section within the amphitheater

Within the reserved section, seating is first-come, first-served — arriving early within the check-in window gives you the best choice of positions in the reserved area.

The Meal

50’s Prime Time Café serves American comfort food that “Mom” would be proud of — or at least, Mom from a mid-century television kitchen. The Fantasmic! Dining Package includes a prix fixe experience that typically covers:

• An entrée — the restaurant is known for its fried chicken, pot roast, and meat loaf, all done in the hearty, no-apologies tradition of American home cooking
• A side dish and dessert
• Non-alcoholic beverage

Package pricing is approximately $59 per adult (ages 10+) / $23 per child (ages 3 to 9), plus tax and gratuity. Verify current pricing through Disney at time of booking, as rates are subject to change.

About Fantasmic!

Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a 30-minute nighttime spectacular performed on the Hollywood Hills Waterfront amphitheater. Mickey Mouse faces a battle of imagination against Disney’s greatest villains in a show that combines water screens, pyrotechnics, lasers, live performers, and dozens of Disney character appearances. The amphitheater seats thousands, but the demand for good positions means that general-admission guests often begin staking out spots well over an hour in advance.
