About Cítricos

Cítricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa occupies one of the most magical settings of any Disney restaurant — a re-imagined dining room inspired by the animated sequences of Mary Poppins Returns. The décor brings guests into a fanciful garden scene, with motifs of flowers, butterflies, and whimsical botanical elements that evoke the film’s enchanted garden world.

The name Cítricos is the Spanish word for citrus, nodding to the restaurant’s Florida roots and the bright, fresh flavors that anchor the menu. Under Chef Andres Mendoza’s direction, the kitchen draws on Florida’s extraordinary access to local produce, Gulf Coast seafood, and Caribbean flavor profiles, layering those ingredients with Mediterranean technique to create a cuisine that feels distinctly of place.

Cítricos is part of Disney’s Signature Dining collection, the tier of Walt Disney World restaurants that sets the highest standard for culinary quality and guest experience. This means refined plating, a sophisticated atmosphere, professional service, and menus that compete with fine dining restaurants beyond the resort. Guests are expected to dress in neat, clean attire that reflects the sophisticated setting — no swimwear.

The Grand Floridian Setting

Staying at or visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa adds another layer of magic to a Cítricos dinner. The Victorian-style resort is Walt Disney World’s flagship hotel, and arriving for dinner through its ornate lobby — complete with live orchestra on select evenings — is part of the experience. The Cítricos Lounge, adjacent to the restaurant, also serves dishes from the dinner menu for guests who prefer a more casual setting or arrive early.
