Ale & Compass Restaurant occupies the main dining room of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, a hotel whose design evokes a prosperous New England seaside yacht club of the late 19th century. The nautical theme permeates the space: ship models, compass roses, and maritime charts adorn the walls, while the warm wood tones and soft lighting create an atmosphere that feels both refined and genuinely comfortable.

The restaurant serves as the Yacht Club Resort’s primary table-service option, replacing the former Captains Grille that occupied the same space. The menu leans confidently into New England seafood traditions — clam chowder, lobster, and scallops appear regularly — while offering enough variety that non-seafood guests will find plenty to enjoy.

Ale & Compass benefits enormously from its location. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort sits on the shores of Crescent Lake, steps from both EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
