EPCOT’s Most Coveted Breakfast Is Back — and It Books Out Fast

Disney World has confirmed the Parisian Breakfast Buffet is returning to Chefs de France for the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, according to Disney’s official Walt Disney World dining calendar — and if last year is any guide, reservations will sell out within weeks of opening.

The experience runs on select Fridays and Saturdays beginning August 28, 2026, through the close of the festival on November 21, 2026. Reservations open on July 16, 2026 through the My Disney Experience app. This is a prepaid, limited-availability event, which means availability disappears fast once that booking window unlocks.

What the Parisian Breakfast Includes

Chefs de France operates only for lunch and dinner during most of the year, making this morning buffet an anomaly — and a genuinely special one. The spread is styled around a traditional French café breakfast and includes:

  • Chocolate and almond croissants, plus plain croissants and pain au chocolat
  • Freshly baked baguettes and bread
  • Premium cheeses and charcuterie
  • Smoked salmon
  • Seasonal fresh fruit
  • Beverages including mimosas and hot chocolate

The buffet is designed to feel transportive — the kind of slow, indulgent morning that doesn’t exist anywhere else in Walt Disney World. Seated inside the France Pavilion restaurant with its Parisian café interiors, the setting delivers on the concept in a way a theme park snack stand simply cannot.

Pricing and What to Expect

Disney has not yet announced 2026 pricing. In 2025, the experience was $64.95 per person — a significant outlay, but one that covers a full buffet spread with bottomless mimosas in a table-service setting. The $64.95 included tax and gratuity — no additional charges at the table.

The 2025 event — with reservations opening August 12 — was expected to fill quickly, and by all accounts did. With the 2026 booking window opening July 16 and the full Eat to the Beat concert lineup already announced, interest in the festival is already high — which makes securing a spot on opening day even more important.

A few things worth knowing before you book:

  1. Cancellation policy: The cancellation policy for the 2025 experience allowed cancellations with a $10-per-person fee when cancelled within 2 hours of the reservation time; check your confirmation for current 2026 terms.
  2. Festival-only availability: The breakfast runs only during the Food & Wine Festival dates (August 27 – November 21, 2026) and only on Fridays and Saturdays.
  3. One session per morning: There’s no rolling availability throughout the day — this is a morning experience, typically beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Why This Story Matters Now

The Parisian Breakfast has become one of those Disney dining events guests plan entire trips around. Its combination of scarcity (festival-only, weekend-only, prepaid), setting (France Pavilion), and menu quality places it in a different tier than most EPCOT dining offerings.

The announcement coming in mid-June — with booking not opening until July 16 — gives guests about 3.5 weeks of lead time to watch for it. For Disney World regulars who know how quickly special events disappear from My Disney Experience, that window is worth circling on the calendar now.

Disney has listed the experience on the official Walt Disney World dining pages as the Parisian Breakfast at Chefs de France, confirming it as a Disney-managed reservation event rather than a third-party add-on.

How to Book When the Window Opens

  1. Open the My Disney Experience app on July 16, 2026 — ideally right at the booking time (check DisneyWorld.disney.go.com for the exact release time as July 16 approaches).
  2. Search under EPCOT dining or navigate directly to the Chefs de France listing.
  3. Select the Parisian Breakfast experience and choose your preferred Friday or Saturday date during the festival.
  4. Complete the prepaid reservation — a credit card is required at time of booking.

If you don’t land a spot on July 16, check back periodically. Cancellations do open up, especially in October and November as travel plans change.
