If you hold a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, now is the time to start making dining reservations. Disney just announced one of the most generous passholder dining promotions in recent memory — and for the right guest, the savings can be substantial.

According to Inside the Magic, Walt Disney World’s V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days 2026 will run from May 1 through July 31, giving eligible Annual Passholders the chance to save up to 40% on food and non-alcoholic beverages at select table-service restaurants — with some caveats worth knowing before you book.

The Headline Numbers: Up to 40% Off at 10 Restaurants

Disney is offering a 40% discount at the following ten table-service restaurants across Walt Disney World’s theme parks and resort hotels:

Coral Reef RestaurantEPCOTDinner only
Garden Grill RestaurantEPCOTLunch and dinner

Two additional restaurants — Be Our Guest Restaurant (lunch only) and The Crystal Palace (lunch and dinner) — offer a 20% discount during the same promotion window.

The Catch: Weekdays Only

Here’s the detail that will make or break this deal for most guests: the discount is only valid Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are excluded entirely.

This is a deliberate strategy on Disney’s part. By restricting the discount to weekdays, they’re incentivizing passholders to dine on the slower days of the week when restaurants might otherwise have empty tables — while protecting peak weekend revenue. It’s smart business, but it does mean you’ll need to plan your trip around a midweek schedule to truly capitalize on the savings.

The specific valid dates break down as:

  • May: May 4–28 (select weekdays)
  • June: June 1–30 (select weekdays)
  • July: July 1–30 (select weekdays)

How the Discount Works

The discount applies to the Annual Passholder themselves, plus up to three dining guests at their table — so a family of four can use just one pass to save. A few important restrictions apply:

  • Dine-in only; no takeout or mobile orders
  • Covers food and non-alcoholic beverages only (alcohol is excluded)
  • Cannot be combined with other offers or dining packages
  • Does not stack with an existing 10% Annual Passholder dining discount
  • Reservations are strongly recommended, as availability is limited

Why This Is a Bigger Deal Than You Might Think

Disney’s standard passholder dining discount sits at around 10% — so a 40% offer at some of these restaurants represents a meaningful jump. To put it in perspective: dinner for a family of four at Tiffins Restaurant can easily run $200–$300. At 40% off, that’s $80–$120 back in your pocket on a single meal.

Some of these restaurants are also among the most underrated on Disney property. Tiffins Restaurant at Animal Kingdom consistently earns praise for its adventurous globally-inspired menu and its food is genuinely world-class. Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge is famous for its rowdy, interactive atmosphere and bottomless skillets. And Toledo at Coronado Springs has quietly become one of the best resort restaurants on the entire Walt Disney World campus.

For passholders planning a summer visit anyway, this promotion is an excellent reason to schedule your trip around a Tuesday or Wednesday — and to prioritize a table-service dinner over a quick-service meal.

What About the Dining Plan?

Worth noting: this discount cannot be combined with the Disney Dining Plan. If you’re using dining credits, the passholder discount doesn’t apply. That said, if you’re paying out of pocket, the 40% offer almost certainly delivers better value than a pre-paid dining plan at these particular restaurants. Book Now — Reservations Fill Fast

V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days kicks off May 1, which means the booking window for early May dates is already open. If you have your eye on a specific restaurant — especially Tiffins or Tusker House — we’d recommend grabbing a reservation as soon as possible. These offers tend to generate a lot of interest, and availability at the most popular locations will be limited on qualifying weekdays.

This is also a timely reminder to check which Annual Pass tier you hold, as benefits can vary. Make sure your pass is active before you arrive and have your confirmation ready to present at the host stand.
