Disney's Cool Kids' Summer Is Almost Here — And the Food Lineup Looks Absolutely Wild
Disney World’s summer season is pulling up fast, and if the food lineup is any indication, this is going to be one delicious few months. According to Disney Food Blog, eight brand-new snacks are arriving across the parks on May 26, 2026, kicking off Cool Kids’ Summer — the resort’s annual summer celebration running through September 8, 2026.
And honestly? We’re already making a list of everything we need to try.
So What IS Cool Kids’ Summer?
For the uninitiated, Cool Kids’ Summer is Disney World’s signature warm-weather programming push — a park-wide celebration that brings new character experiences, entertainment, and (most importantly to us) a fresh wave of themed food and drink. This year’s lineup leans hard into beloved characters like Goofy, Buzz Lightyear, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and even Bluey, scattering fun snacks across all four parks and Disney Springs.
The Must-Try Treats, Park by Park
Magic Kingdom
Buzz Lightyear fans heading to Tomorrowland should make a beeline for Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, which is getting two new additions:
- Zurg Overload Shake — a vanilla shake loaded with cherry coating, marshmallow whipped cream, and sprinkles. It’s the kind of over-the-top indulgence that Magic Kingdom does better than anyone.
- Space Ranger Float — DOLE Whip Lime and vanilla soft-serve swirled together with Sprite, green apple pearls, and sprinkles. Yes, please.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Studios is going full Goofy this summer. A new location called GRAB-N-GOOF is the centerpiece, offering a genuinely creative menu:
- Chicken Goof-Ups — Just Bare lightly breaded chicken breast bites with fried cheese curds and a mysterious “Goofy sauce.” We have so many questions and we need answers immediately.
- Goof Troop Mac Snack — fried macaroni and cheese with marinara dipping sauce. This one is going to be everywhere on Instagram.
- Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake — chocolate cake with ganache, cookies and cream pieces, and gummy candy on top. It’s unhinged in the best possible way.
- Goofy’s Gone Fishing — blue raspberry lemonade with strawberry fruit juice-filled pearls and your choice of fish or shark gummy candies. A sip and a snack in one cup.
Also at the Studios, the Chip ‘n’ Dale Ani-made drink arrives at Animation Courtyard — Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, DOLE Pineapple Juice, and watermelon syrup served in a collectible Chip ‘n’ Dale sipper (limit two per person, so plan accordingly).
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is getting some Bluey love this summer, with Bluey’s Berry Lemonade — a frozen blend of blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry — available at Eight Spoon Café and Pizzafari. It’s the kind of thing that will have families with young kids making a dedicated detour.
Also at Pizzafari: the Fairy Bread Cake (vanilla cake dipped in white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles with raspberry sauce) and the Wackadoo Fruit Freeze (frozen Simply Fruit Punch with a fruit salad garnish).
EPCOT
EPCOT gets in on the fun at Isle of Java with Pretzel’s Pretzels — soft mini pretzels served with homemade cheese and blueberry-mustard sauces. The blueberry-mustard combo sounds like either a genius move or a terrible one, and we fully intend to find out which.
And over at Amorette’s Patisserie, the standout is the interactive Mickey and Minnie Cookie Art kit — two decorated cookies, a painter’s palette cookie, brushes, and edible watercolor paints for on-the-spot decorating. This one is tailor-made for families with little ones and, honestly, for anyone who enjoys a bit of edible arts and crafts.
Why This Matters Beyond the Snacks
The sheer breadth of this rollout is notable. Disney is spreading character-themed food across all four parks simultaneously, which is a significant coordination effort — and a smart one. Themed food has become one of the most shareable parts of a Disney vacation, and items like the Goof Troop Mac Snack and the Cookie Art kit are engineered to end up all over social media the moment the gates open on May 26.
It’s also a signal of how seriously Disney is leaning into its summer season as a full-resort event rather than just a handful of new offerings at a single park. From Tomorrowland to EPCOT to Animal Kingdom, there’s something new to discover no matter which park you’re visiting.
What We’re Watching
We’ll be keeping a close eye on which of these items survive through September and which quietly disappear after a few weeks. In our experience, the ones with the most social traction — and the most unique flavor combinations — tend to stick around. Our early bets for longevity: the Zurg Overload Shake and the Goof Troop Mac Snack.
If you’re heading to Disney World this summer, May 26 is shaping up to be a very good day to be in the parks. Come hungry.
